March 2021, India – PROSE Technologies achieved yet another success in our overseas business by signing a new deal for microwave antennas with our long-time partner, Ceragon Networks India, continuing to support Point-to-Point Backhaul Antenna Solutions for local operators in India. In recent years, as optical fiber technology has gradually occupied the majority of the wireless coverage market, providing higher bandwidth has become the focus of many operators' network construction planning. However, for regions such as India and Southeast Asia, fixed Internet access remains the most viable option for local operators. Long transmission distances, high performance, consistency, reliability, low latency, and rapid, low-cost deployment make the use of microwave antennas an outstanding option to provide point-to-point transmission and wireless backhaul systems.

PROSE's high-performance microwave antennas have been supplied to many local operators in India, such as Airtel India, and have been highly recognized. In 2020, global deliveries reached up to 30,000 units. Ceragon Networks, one of the world's largest wireless backhaul solutions providers, maintains multiple business relationships with PROSE Technologies in India and other regions. The partnership with Ceragon Networks India is also expected to provide Vodafone Idea Limited with a large broadband mobile backhaul solution covering more than 200 LTE sites for the local terminal operator. Since the beginning of last year, many antenna projects in the Indian region have been suspended or delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. PROSE's microwave antenna research and development team, together with the local sales team, focused on customer demand by monitoring and efficiently allocating inventory. Productivity increased, along with optimized reflection surface design, to provide customers with a more rapid delivery rate, effectively avoiding the impact of COVID-19 on logistics and delivery.
