Dubai, UAE – PROSE Technologies, a global innovator in wireless communication solutions, has successfully partnered with du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company) to deliver a major indoor 5G enhancement at Dragon Mart, the largest Chinese market in Dubai and the UAE. Leveraging the advanced PROSE Active DAS platform, the project delivers significant improvements in network performance, capacity, and user experience across the entire mall.

As part of the upgrade, du and PROSE modernized the existing system from N41 to N78 4T4R Pro IRUs. The enhanced deployment demonstrates the effectiveness of PROSE’s solution in high-density indoor environments and reinforces du’s leadership in next-generation connectivity.

Following integration and optimization, the site delivered outstanding results:

• 5G maximum throughput increased by 300%.
• Improved the utilization performance KPIs in addition to other performance metrics/KPIs.
• 5G total traffic has increased by 11%.
• The successful trial confirms the strong capacity gains enabled by PROSE Active DAS and highlights the solution’s ability to support large-scale commercial venues with demanding traffic and user density patterns. The site will also be capable of sharing, which is du’s broader indoor coverage evolution.

The detailed analysis shows that average daily traffic has increased following the activation of PROSE 5G. This indicates a strong and immediate impact of the PROSE 5G upgrade, driving higher usage and network demand at the indoor site compared to previous periods.
